All data uploaded to LawyersLife — including case documents, contracts, client information, research materials, and related content — remains the property of the user and their organization.

We do not claim ownership of your data.

You retain full control over:

  • How it is used within your organization
  • Who can access it
  • Which workflows and AI services are enabled

2. Data Usage

We use your data solely to provide and improve the functionality of the LawyersLife platform, including:

  • Case analysis
  • Legal research assistance
  • Consultation workflows
  • Contract review and drafting
  • Courtroom preparation workflows
  • Workflow management and operational tools

LawyersLife does not use your uploaded data to train internal or public AI models.

Your data is never used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose outside your organization’s authorized workflows.

3. AI and Model Usage

LawyersLife uses AI models to generate legal analysis, workflow outputs, drafting assistance, and operational insights based on the data you provide.

AI processing is limited to your active requests and selected workflows. Examples include:

  • Legal analysis
  • Contract review and redrafting
  • Consultation guidance
  • Courtroom preparation workflows
  • Research assistance
  • Draft generation

Only the materials relevant to your requested workflow are processed. Examples may include:

  • Uploaded documents
  • Selected Acts and precedents
  • Workflow instructions
  • User prompts and inputs

Outputs are generated in real-time through commercial API-based AI services.

LawyersLife does not use customer-submitted content to train or retrain proprietary AI models.

4. AI Providers and API Processing

LawyersLife integrates with commercial AI model providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and Google Gemini, to support legal analysis, drafting, research assistance, and workflow generation.

When you initiate an AI-powered workflow, relevant portions of uploaded documents, prompts, selected authorities, and workflow context may be securely transmitted to these providers through API-based services solely for the purpose of generating the requested output.

API-Based Processing

AI providers process submitted content only to:

  • Generate requested outputs
  • Perform contextual reasoning and drafting
  • Return responses to LawyersLife workflows

LawyersLife does not permit submitted customer data to be used for advertising or marketing purposes.

Model Training Restrictions

LawyersLife uses commercial API services designed for enterprise and application use.

Under the applicable API service policies of supported providers:

  • Data submitted through API workflows is not used to train public foundation models by default
  • Outputs generated for LawyersLife workflows are not used to improve public AI systems
  • Data handling is subject to the providers’ enterprise/API terms and privacy commitments

Supported AI Providers

Depending on workflow configuration and model selection, LawyersLife may utilize:

  • OpenAI
  • Anthropic Claude
  • Google Gemini

Supported providers and infrastructure may evolve over time as the platform expands.

5. Data Segregation

We implement strict data isolation practices to ensure that:

  • Your organization’s data is logically and securely segregated from other organizations
  • No cross-organization data access is permitted
  • Each organization’s environment operates independently within the platform

One organization’s data is never visible or accessible to another organization.

Access to data within LawyersLife is controlled by your organization.

Organizations may:

  • Define user roles and permissions
  • Restrict access to specific cases, matters, clients, or documents
  • Control internal visibility and workflow participation

LawyersLife personnel do not access customer data except:

  • When required for system maintenance or operational support
  • With explicit customer authorization
  • Where required by applicable law

Upon account termination, data handling is performed in accordance with LawyersLife retention and deletion procedures.

Users remain responsible for ensuring that their use of the platform complies with applicable legal, ethical, regulatory, and professional obligations.

Where appropriate, users should avoid submitting information prohibited by applicable confidentiality or professional conduct requirements unless authorized to do so.

10. Third-Party Infrastructure and AI Services

LawyersLife may use trusted third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate platform functionality, including:

  • Cloud hosting
  • Data storage
  • Notification delivery
  • Authentication services
  • AI-powered workflow processing

These providers:

  • Operate under contractual confidentiality and security obligations
  • Process data only for authorized service functionality
  • Do not receive ownership rights over customer data
  • Do not gain independent rights to use uploaded legal materials
